The Fidesser family has been crafting biodynamic wines for numerous generations, with every member taking an active role in the production process. ‘Some things can be better implemented in a traditional family business. Our winery in Platt in the Weinviertel is a living example.’ The key elements to their high-quality wines are the Pannonian climate, fertile soil, and their deep understanding of nature. The Orbis line created by the youngest generation - Sophie and Rudi - are now taking it further: their experimental series features minimal sulfite use, an unfiltered approach, and increased skin contact. ‘The wines must be radically natural, direct and absolutely strong in character.’ We are happy to present the new generation of Austrian natural winemaking!
