Inspired by "Les Ignorants," a graphic novel that follows the legendary Loire winemaker Richard Leroy, Fabien Perreard established his domaine, Le Nadir, in Doué-en-Anjou in 2020, after gaining experience at Château de Villeneuve, Château Yvonne, and Domaine Mélaric. We visited Fabien for the first time in June of 2023. After an initial round of tasting, we instantly understood that his long-aged Grolleau and Chenin are perspective-shifting wines that we had to bring to the US as soon as possible.
