From Hirotaka Meguro's natural winery near the Zao mountains in Miyagi — famously revived on post-2011 farmland around a converted school gym — a wild-fermented, no-additive Muscat Bailey A red made in the estate's uncompromising house style. Concentrated fruit, bright acidity, rich umami — well-balanced, with aging potential. Aromas of blueberry, cassis, mint, hint of smoke and vanilla.
Winemaking
Using fully-ripened grapes from Yamagata. Fermented with wild yeast. Aged in oak.
